The major feature film “August: Osage County” is holding a second round of open casting calls and still accepting email submissions from people interested in working as fully paid background performers on the film. Shooting will take place in Northeastern Oklahoma, specifically in the Pawhuska and Bartlesville areas. Over 4,000 people showed up for a casting call on Saturday September 18th at Tulsa Promenade, although there was a location change announced just days prior to the open call. The casting directors want to open up the opportunity to as many people as possible. Speaking roles have been cast in Oklahoma, and additional roles could be cast throughout the shoot, which runs from September 24 through the end of October, 2012.
