Disney casting directors are searching for two young actors to play lead roles in the Walt Disney Pictures/Lucasfilm “Star Wars: Episode VII”. Six casting director meet-and-greet sessions have been scheduled across the United States and United Kingdom to scout talent for two lead roles, one young female and on young male. In addition to the in-person casting director meet-and-greet sessions, audition video submissions are being accepted at the only official casting webpage that has been set up by Disney Casting director Maryellen Aviano.

Imagine Entertainment and Teakwood Lane Productions are currently in pre-production on the new 20th Century Fox TV series “24: Live Another Day”, which is a 12-episode run based on the mega-hit Fox network and worldwide syndicated political spy action thriller series “24” which spanned 192 episodes over eight seasons, and pulled in countless awards including 68 Emmy nominations, with 20 wins. The casting directors for “24: Live Another Day” are auditioning actors for lead roles, supporting roles, and recurring roles in Los Angeles. The show will be set in London, UK and will be filmed there for this limited first-run season. The extras will be cast in London.

Pictures epic fantasy adventure feature film “Warcraft”, which is now scheduled to begin shooting in Vancouver on January 13, 2014. This film is based on the franchise of video games and novels by Blizzard Entertainment. The twelve-time Casting Society of America Artios Award nominated casting director for the film will begin auditioning talent for lead roles, and subsequently supporting roles. The extras for the movie will be cast throughout production in Vancouver.
“Neckpee Island” is one of two new Disney pilots for actor Jacob Bertrand.
Disney XD has given the green light to begin production on a brand new half-hour comedy series pilot titled “Neckpee Island”. The casting directors have now sent out casting calls for series regulars and guest starring roles, for both child roles between 12-14 years old, and for adults of various ages. The extras will be cast throughout production, which will begin in mid-October, 2013. There will be a fairly large amount of kids cast as extras to play middle school students. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles.

Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Animation are in pre-production on the live-action/animated feature film “SpongeBob SquarePants 2”. The casting director has sent out casting calls for principal actor roles in Los Angeles, New York, as well as in Savannah, Georgia where shooting on the live-action scenes will take place from September 30, 2013 through November 5, 2013. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are conducting an international talent search seeking an actor or soccer player to play the role of the legendary Pele. Filming will take place in Brazil from September 2, 2013 through October 15, 2013. The film’s extras will be hired locally in Brazil.

ABC Studios in association with Digital 49 Productions and Kitsis/Horowitz will begin shooting season one of the brand new fantasy-drama television series “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” on July 31, 2013. Production is taking place at The Bridge Studios in Vancouver and various surrounding locations. The show’s stand-ins, photo-doubles, and extras are being cast locally in the Vancouver area. The series is a spin-off of the popular fairy tale drama series “Once Upon a Time”. Season one will continue shooting through February 17, 2014.
