Alloy Entertainment and Bonanza Productions have begun production on the fifth season of the hit CW supernatural drama series “The Vampire Diaries”, which has been given a full 22 episode order. The show’s casting directors in Los Angeles are auditioning actors and actresses for new recurring and guest starring roles. Smaller day-player roles and extras will be cast throughout the season by the local casting directors in Atlanta, GA where shooting takes place beginning on July 11, 2013. The series is based on the book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith.

Kapital Entertainment is prepping to begin production on a new 1/2 hour comedy series pilot for ABC titled “Pulling“. Shooting on the single-camera show will get underway mid-March at the ABC Studios in Los Angeles. The extras casting director will hire background performers throughout production. “Pulling” is based on the hugely popular British sitcom of the same name.
