The hit NBC science fiction television drama series “Revolution” has been renewed for a full 22-episode second season, and the show has moved shooting locations from Wilmington, North Carolina to Austin, Texas. The series casting directors are auditioning actors for new recurring, guest starring, and day player roles. In addition, the local Austin casting director is seeking talent to work as series regular extras for the entire second season. Shooting will take place from July 5, 2013 through April 30, 2013.
The independent comedy western film “A Night In Old Mexico” starring Academy Award winner Robert Duvall, is holding an open casting call in Texas for both speaking roles and extras. The film tells the story of a cranky Texas rancher who is forced to give up his land and move to a trailer park, and takes a last wild ride with his estranged grandson where both learn life lessons.
The sequel to the 2010 action film “Machete” titled “Machete Kills” is set to go before the cameras on June 14, 2012 in Austin, Texas. The film’s casting directors are auditioning actors for co-starring and supporting roles in Los Angeles, and additional casting will take place in Austin. The extras casting director is holding an open casting call for all types of people to work as paid general background performers on the film.
