Tara Rubin, casting director of many long-running Broadway shows, is seeking Equity or non-Equity singers who move well. Talent of all ethnicities are strongly encouraged to submit, and there are no fees to be considered. Casting Society of America Artios Award winning casting director Bernard Telsey of Telsey & Company is holding an open audition in Los Angeles for the 35th Anniversary Broadway revival of the musical “Annie”. Online video submissions are also being accepted. The production is casting girls between the ages of 6 and 12 years to play the roles of Annie and the orphans Molly, Pepper, Duffy, July, Tessie, and Kate. No prior acting experience is necessary, and both union and non-union girls can audition. There are NO fees to attend the open casting call. The production will open in Fall 2012 at one of the Nederlander Organization‘s nine Broadway theatres to be announced.
