With the announcement that Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin is in negotiations for a lead role in “Jurassic World”, casting is now officially in high gear. Ebb Tide Films and Amblin Entertainment are in pre-production on the fourth installment of the Universal Pictures extremely popular and successful science fiction adventure Jurassic Park film series. Current casting is taking place in Los Angeles, however there will be additional casting in the filming locations of Baton Rouge, LA and also in Hawaii. Interior shots will be filmed in sound stages at Raleigh Studios in Baton Rouge, while exterior filming will take place on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.

Gerber Pictures is now in pre-production on the Warner Bros. Pictures true-story action survival feature film “Crazy For The Storm” based on the bestselling novel “Crazy For The Storm: A Memoir Of Survival” by Norman Ollestad. A massive talent search has been taking place since February, 2013 for a boy who can play 11 year-old Norman Ollestad. The talent search included online video submissions accepted through Cast It Talent. However, the right boy was not discovered and new casting director information is now available.

The major feature film “Gangster Squad” has begun production in Los Angeles and the casting directors are casting day players, extras, photo doubles, and stand-ins. The Warner Bros. Pictures film has an all star cast that includes Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Emma Stone, and Nick Nolte. “Gangster Squad” chronicles of the LAPD‘s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 1950s.
