The Bedford Falls Company and Stick N’ Stone Productions in association with Untitled Entertainment are in production on the feature film “Cut Bank,” and the casting team is holding several open casting calls for people interested in working on the movie as fully paid background performers. Shooting will take place in Edmonton, Alberta this Summer. They are seeking people of all ages and types, and no previous experience is required to be considered.
Liam Hemsworth’s last film before shooting commences on “Catching Fire” is now casting for lead roles. The film is titled “Paranoia” and also stars Academy Award nominated actors Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. It is being described as a corporate espionage thriller that follows a war between rival telecom companies. Auditions are taking place in Los Angeles and New York. The extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will be hired in the filming locations of Philadelphia and New York.
The search is on for the next leading ladies to star opposite Liam Hemsworth in the romantic thrillerfeature film “Timeless”. In addition to Hemsworth’s wife, and a new love interest, all of the starring and supporting roles are up for grabs in this time-travel movie where Liam’s character Rory builds a machine in order to visit his beloved late wife one last time. The powerhouse production companyRelativity Media will begin shooting “Timeless” in Manhattan this coming July, 2012 after Liam Hemsworth wraps filming on “Empire State”.

Casting calls and auditions information for the second film in Suzanne Collin’s “The Hunger Games” trilogy – “Catching Fire” – will be posted at www.acting-auditions.org as they become available. Director Gary Ross, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth have all signed on to all four of the Hunger Games films. “Mockingjay” will be shot as two separate films back-to-back just as “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” was filmed. Production on “Catching Fire” will begin late Summer/early Fall, 2012, and the movie will hit theaters on November 22, 2013.
The sequel to the mega-hit ensemble action film “The Expendables” is nearing the start of filming in October, 2012. The casting director is currently casting supporting roles and smaller speaking roles, and the extras casting company is registering extras to work on the film. The original film had a budget of $80 million and made over $274 million dollars at the box office.

Principal photography on “The Hunger Games” began on May 19, 2011. According the the Screen Actors Guild, shooting will continue through September 3, 2011. Locations include the North Carolina communities of Hildebran, Charlotte, Asheville, and Wilmington among others. Casting for the films extras, stand-ins and photo doubles will continue throughout filming. Some small speaking roles will also be cast as minor script changes occur during the shoot.
