Star Wars: Episode VII begins filming January 21, 2014.
Disney casting directors are searching for two young actors to play lead roles in the Walt Disney Pictures/Lucasfilm “Star Wars: Episode VII”. Six casting director meet-and-greet sessions have been scheduled across the United States and United Kingdom to scout talent for two lead roles, one young female and on young male. In addition to the in-person casting director meet-and-greet sessions, audition video submissions are being accepted at the only official casting webpage that has been set up by Disney Casting director Maryellen Aviano.
“Dolphin Tale 2” will continue the adventures of Winter, the dolphin with the mechanical tail.
Alcon Entertainment and Bottlenose Productions are gearing up to begin production on the Warner Bros. Pictures feature film sequel “Dolphin Tale 2”. The Primetime Emmy Award winning casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are auditioning actors for starring and co-starring roles. Additional casting will take place in Florida, where shooting is scheduled to commence in October, 2013. The photo-doubles and stand-ins for the films principal actors, as well as general extras and featured background actors will be cast in October and will continue throughout production.

Sony Pictures Television in association with Gran Via Productions and Nemo Films are in pre-production on a new one-hour drama series pilot titled “Wild Blue”. The show’s casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are holding auditions for series regulars, with additional auditions to take place as soon as the regulars are cast. The stand-ins and background extras will be cast throughout shooting on the series pilot episode, which begins mid-March, 2013 in Los Angeles. There will be a very large number of people hired to play Navy personnel on the show.
Marvel Studios and Arad Productions are gearing up to start shooting the sequel to “The Amazing Spider Man” this February, 2013 in New York. The casting director for “The Amazing Spider-Man: London Calling” is auditioning actors for starring and co-starring roles. Stand-ins for the film’s actors will be hired closer to the start of filming, as well as extras being cast throughout the shoot in New York and Los Angeles. “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” is scheduled for release on May 2, 2014.
The hit FX NetworkGolden Globe Nominated horror-drama series American Horror Story has been renewed for a second season and the award winning casting team is holding auditions in Los Angeles. The show’s format is anthology based, whereas the story, characters, and location for each season is different. The show’s guest stars and extras are being cast throughout the season, which began shooting July 17, 2012. The second season of “American Horror Story” takes place in an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, although filming takes place in Los Angeles.

Auditions are underway in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Vancouver for series regulars and numerous principal actor roles in the upcoming NBC Pilot “Playboy”. Shooting will take place in Chicago, where all of the film’s extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will be hired.
