HBO hit series ‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 now casting actors and extras

The HBO series “Game of Thrones“, based on the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series of books by George R.R. Martin, has begun casting actors and registering extras for the third season. The Medieval fantasy drama serial will not be holding any open casting calls for extras but are accepting registration from new talent through online submissions. Principal actors are being cast in London, while the background actors are hired in Northern Ireland. Some smaller speaking roles are also cast in Ireland.

Casting directors are urgently looking for females aged 17-20 years old, who look 15 years old maximum with acting experience from Northern Ireland (or the Republic of Ireland) who can sing and/or play the guitar or piano (even if at basic level) for the significant and challenging speaking role of KATIE in the 5 part serial killer drama “The Fall” starring Gillian Anderson which will be filmed in Belfast between the end of March, 2012 – beginning of June, 2012. The Casting directors are also seeking a body builder for a principal acting role.
