Fox 2000 and Temple Hill Productions are in pre-production on the feature film “The Fault in Our Stars”, and the production has sent out a casting call for teens and young adults between 13 and 23 years old who have been affected by cancer, to appear in the film as background performers. The casting director has specified that there is no experience is necessary and these are fully paid positions. They are also looking for a girl who can play actress Shailene Woodley at 11 years old. Shooting will run from August 26, 2013 through October 8, 2013 in Pittsburgh.
The third and final installment in Nolan’s Batman film series is currently in production and the Pittsburgh casting directors are holding open casting calls for extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles. The Pittsburgh portion of shooting on “The Dark Knight Rises” will take place from July 28, 2011 through August 21, 2011 on a Wednesday through Sunday schedule.
