Danni Productions and Ole’ Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Production are now in pre-production on the brand new science fiction romance series “Star-Crossed”, and casting calls will be going out for series regulars, guest starring, and recurring roles. Additional casting for smaller speaking roles will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana where shooting on the series will take place from August 18th through December 1st, 2013. The show’s extras will be cast locally throughout production on the first season.
Gotham Group is in the pre-production stage on the upcoming feature film “Camp X-Ray” and the Primetime Emmy Award winning casting director for the movie is holding auditions for lead, co-starring, and supporting roles. The extras, photo doubles, and stand-ins for the film’s stars will be cast closer to the start of shooting. Production is set to take place in Los Angeles, CA and will begin principal photography on July 15, 2013.
Universal Television and TBD Productions are in pre-production on a new 1/2 hour multi-camera hybrid 1/2 hour comedy series pilot titled “Holding Patterns”. Casting directors in both Los Angeles and New York are conducting auditions for the series regulars. Possible recurring, guest starring and day player roles will be cast after the main roles are filled. The show will shoot in Los Angeles beginning in April, 2013. The extras casting director will be hiring general background performers throughout production.
Gerber Pictures in association with Storyopolisis is in pre-production on the true-story survival drama feature film “Crazy for the Storm” for Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie centers on eleven-year-old Norman Ollestad, who survived a plane crash which left him stranded on an icy mountaintop by using the skills his father instilled in him. The film’s Primetime Emmy Award nominated casting director is conducting a national talent search for a 9-11 year old boy to play the lead role. The movie is based on Ollestad’s novel “Crazy for the Storm: A Memoir of Survival“. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles starting April, 2013.
Sony Pictures Television in association with Gran Via Productions and Nemo Films are in pre-production on a new one-hour drama series pilot titled “Wild Blue”. The show’s casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are holding auditions for series regulars, with additional auditions to take place as soon as the regulars are cast. The stand-ins and background extras will be cast throughout shooting on the series pilot episode, which begins mid-March, 2013 in Los Angeles. There will be a very large number of people hired to play Navy personnel on the show.

Ryan Seacrest Productions is in pre-production on a new 1/2 hour single-camera comedy series pilot for ABC titled “Mixology,” and the casting directors are holding auditions for the series regulars. Guest starring and possible recurring roles will be cast as soon as the regulars are cast. In addition to the principal actors, stand-ins will be hired prior to the start of shooting on March 18, 2013. The background extras will be cast throughout filming on the pilot episode, taking place in Los Angeles.
Hyde Park Entertainment, PalmStar Entertainment, and Merced Media Partners in association with the production companies Every Secret Thing and A Likely Story are in pre-production on the major feature film “Every Secret Thing”. Auditions are being held in Los Angeles and New York for starring and co-starring roles, including a three year old girl, eight year old boy, two eleven year old girls, two eighteen year old girls, and various adults of different ages and ethnicities. Shooting will take place in New York City, and all extras will be cast there throughout filming beginning on March 20, 2013.
