The long anticipated feature film adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer‘s “The Host” is now ready to begin shooting in February, 2012. The extras casting director in Louisiana is accepting appointments for casting calls in Baton Rouge. Both men and women are needed, however this is for adults 18 years of age and older. Any open calls for teens and children will be posted as they become available. You need not be a resident of Louisiana to be considered, however you must be located in the area during filming, and have the proper paperwork.
The long awaited film adaptation of Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer‘s “The Host” is now holding auditions in Los Angeles for starring and supporting roles. Auditions are also taking place in Louisiana for smaller roles, and extras casting will take place there as well. Additional auditions and extras casting will take place in New Mexico when filming moves there after Louisiana shooting is complete.

The feature film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s “The Host” is now finally in pre-production with filming set to start in January, 2012. The talented Academy Award nominee Saoirse Ronan has dropped out of “The Hobbit” to take on dual roles in “The Host”. Auditions for the film’s other starring roles and supporting roles is getting underway. The day player actors, extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will be cast just prior to the principal photography start date and will continue throughout filming.

Stephenie Meyer’s “The Host” is now officially in pre-production with filming set to start in early 2011. Meyer recently stated that she casts actors for the roles in her head when she writes. Unlike “Twilight”, she envisions some pretty big names to star in “The Host.”
