Alcon Entertainment and Syncopy in association with Evolutionary Pictures and Straight Up Films are in pre-production on the epic Warner Bros. Pictures sci-fi thriller feature film “Transcendence”. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles and Boston beginning in April, 2013. Two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner and four-time Casting Society of America Artios Award winner John Papsidera is casting the film’s starring and co-starring roles in Los Angeles. Additional principal actor casting will be taking place in Boston. The background performers and stand-ins will be cast locally in Boston. Experienced film crew members and production staff are also being hired locally in Massachusetts.

Alcon Entertainment in association with 8:38 Productions and Madhouse Entertainment are currently in pre-production on the crime thriller feature film “Prisoners” for Warner Bros. Pictures. Filming will begin in January, 2013 in Conyers, GA which is twenty four miles east of Atlanta. The local casting director is holding an open casting call seeking men and women of any ethnicity, ages 18 and over, with or without experience working as a movie extra. There are also some speaking roles being cast locally. The film is scheduled to be released on September 20, 2013.

Disney Channel casting series regulars for new TV show ‘Kirby Gates’

Auditions are underway for a brand new Disney Channel series pilot titled “Kirby Gates”. The single camera comedy will combine live-action and animation. Kids and teens from 12 – 17 years of age are being cast as series regulars, as well as adults for possible recurring roles should the series be picked up. Many kids and teens will also be hired as extras to play students and other roles. People of any ethnicity can submit, or register for extra work. The show is under SAG-AFTRA with AFTRA contract terms. Shooting will begin in November, 2012.
